PPF BUILDING IN A GREEN SCREEN WITH A VIEW ON THE SALÈVE
The building in PPF (Property per floor) housing is located on a plot adjoining the heart of the village of Veyrier, at the foot of Salève.
The demolition of a single-storey villa dating back to the 1950s has made it possible to erect this contemporary building, of simple volumetry, which finds its place in the surrounding fabric as a whole. The latter is composed of a main frame in white plaster in which is encircled an absolute black stone volume which marks the entrance of the house. Balcony terraces form an entity attached to the main frame.
The stairwell is treated in monochrome, like the exterior of the building, with the floor and stairs in anthracite and the walls in white. The railing in solid sheet is continuous on all levels. He gives unity to the whole staircase. This element is highlighted by the zenithal canopy which bathes the set of natural light. In addition, the latter limits the use of artificial lighting.
The typology of the apartments allows opening day spaces on large balconies facing south-west. The occupants enjoy an unobstructed view on the Salève. The rooms are arranged on the side of the road, in connection with the village fabric. The basement has been optimized to provide maximum parking and free up space.
