CARL-VOGT JONCTION

BUILDING INTEGRATING NATURE IN THE CITY THROUGH SUSPENDED VEGETABLES GARDENS

Located in Geneva, (district of La Jonction), at the crossroads between the Carl-Vogt boulevard and the rue du Vélodrome, close to the Rhône and the University of Sciences, the plot enjoys an urban situation benefiting from the advantages of the city while being 5min walk from nature.

In its design, the project is exemplary in the integration of nature in the city. Each south-facing apartment enjoys a suspended vegetable garden, integrating both nature in the city but also a small scale production of the building. The volumetry of the project makes it possible to make the most of the surface of the apartments sized according to the needs for housing.
